THE BANTON EP REVIEW / A MOMENT WITH 1DA AND TJAN AT THE INDUSTRY NIGHT (VIDEO)

Firstly I must say whichever team this talented artiste worked with on this project must be a very good one, because from the cover art and tracklistings, you already have an eagerness to download it.

The simplicity and bright colours makes you wanna have a feel of its content and take this advise from me to you, "DONT" because you would definitely get addicted!!

This Body of work "issa" Masterpiece, Not many fast-rising artiste can pull this through.

Well to keep this brief, I'd go straight to giving you a feel of what to expect once you, purchase [or download] this EP

1. GIVE ME YOUR LOVE

I was amazed to find out he produced this song himself, this is a wonderful piece, its actually my favorite and it's number one (1) on the EP.

With nice rhythm, and melody, good use of words and entailing storyline, its one song every lady will be fast to get stuck on and "oh lord" how well was it delivered, its a track not to skip on the EP.

2. WAY UP

I guess this is the one strongly trending, cos everybody can relate to the storyline "Way Up" - the climb to the top.

Whispers have it that a visual for this song may be hit us anytime soon, but who knows? we just have to keep our fingers crossed.

Nice Rhythm, Good use of word, this guy actually is the 'vibe machine' cos he gives us steady vibes.

Shout out to one great talent from the shout, DOKA (@Doka_shots) who produced this song, its Another song not to skip on the EP.

3. BALANCE IT

By the time I got to this song, I was already a fan, wow! 3-in-a-row, someone has to be kidding me here!!

Is he gonna stop?.. Same great vibe, 1DA wasn't even slowing down!! From 1 - 3 the fire rose, More fire!!

And who is PimpBeatz?.. That dude must have some bad rhythm inside his head!!

An unusual sound with nice use of words! I am yet to discover a bad song on this EP.

4. IS IT YOUR MONEY

This song threw me off my feet, I had to take a rest and put all four songs in a playlist and listened repeatedly, I was amazed at such good jobs from a new act!

Indeed talent hides under, until efforts are made, and it is discovered,

Such good music, shout out to new acts bringing new sounds to us.

I was shocked at one thing, this song was produced by Pimpbeatz again....

Now I have to ask again... WHO IS PIMPBEATZ??...

in my words.. This two have a "Iyanya & Dtunes" kinda Chemistry, The kinda thing "Leriq & Burna Boy" had, And I miss these mentioned ones..

Well on to the next.

5. CALYPSO

And once I heard "MasterKraft On the beat" how could I expect less?..

I didn't spend much time on this song, I was working late at night, so I just certified this and moved to the next, you find out if its a hit or a miss yourself, but I bank on good music, and 1DA is GOOD MUSIC.

6. LIMBO (FT. TIM)

Well, I dunno, but at this place I discovered he was human afterall, indeed talented, but still human, like Messi on a bad day, maybe its my sense of music tho.

This could still pass for somebody's favorite song any day, Its well structured and nicely laced, but I am now a fan, so I was already in the zone of extraordinary music.

But shout out to T I M, he came all out on this song, and Pimpbeatz still delivered on this.

Sorry, this is my inner-fan reviewing.

7. NO LOVE (FT. TIMAYA)

This is also an amazing song, but I was expecting more when I saw "featuring Timaya"

Ahnn, Ahnn... I needed to hear those "waist breaking" UKWU kinda songs, with heavy instrumentals

This song works for me on some days though, especially with 1DA still delivering on this, and Pimpbeatz coming out once again, this song has great potential, if a well promoted visual hits us soon.

8. CONCENTRATE

I had heard this song before the EP, and once it came on the EP, I considered it a bonus!

9. JOY (FT. HARRYSONG)

My Joy rose.. Because I knew Harrysong was gonna deliver, and yes, he did.

1DA didn't let himself to be hidden, he came all out and this became a wonderful combo.. Its my favorite "feature" on the EP.

This Melodious tune was produced by Eddieroll (I think I heard that name on a song I reviewed earlier this year, #CarryGo by one Damien newskool or something like that).

This project really amazed me due to the fact that it was basically an introduction of entirely new and unfamiliar names and it's still went on to become a hit.

Nice one going, 1DA

10. PRAY

How can anyone not love this song?..

Am happy he ended the EP on this note?.. A song for everybody!!

This EP has a song for even you, believe me!!

And on this note I give credits to everybody involved in the process of making this.

The producers, sound engineers and Graphic designers.

RATING: THE BANTON EP (8/10)

In my own words, This EP can survive anywhere, in any circle! And can withstand the test of time.
